Hello Readers… This post is a little delayed because… ugh, I am sick! Springtime is notorious for the “is it a cold or is it an allergy?” question, so I thought I would post some links with helpful information.

From ABC News: http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/health/2013/03/18/cold-or-allergies-how-to-tell/

From WBUR, Boston’s NPR station’s Common Health: http://commonhealth.wbur.org/2012/03/spring-allergies-colds

Cold or allergy?

Cold or allergy?

I think the most important thing to know is that if your suffering lasts more than a few days, it’s likely to be an allergy. At that point, you can try an over the counter allergy medication (such as these) or visit your doctor for advice on what is likely to be triggering the reaction and how best to combat it.

In my case, I am pretty sure it’s a cold, so I am going back to bed now to rest up and be ready to get back to writing tomorrow!

Be Well,
Lia Blanchard
